All eyes have been on two of the National League’s finest going toe-to-toe this week in Philadelphia.

The Phillies clinched their 14th straight series win at Citizens Bank Park following Wednesday’s 4-3 victory.

As for the Dodgers, they’re in a three-game funk with several key contributors sidelined due to injury, and they just optioned 2023 hotshot Bobby Miller to Triple-A.

The Phillies will send Aaron Nola to the hill this evening in search of a sweep.

Shōta Imanaga’s stellar out against the Orioles on Wednesday put the finishing touches on a masterful first half.

Imanaga’s six innings of shutout baseball lowered his ERA to 2.97 and improved the Cubs record to 13-4 on days he’s pitched. It was also Chicago’s third-straight win, which they haven’t achieved since late April.

The Cubbies have a chance to sweep Baltimore this evening with Justin Steele on the bump.

All eight contestants in this year’s Home Run Derby were finalized when Teoscar Hernández and Adolis García announced they’d participate on Wednesday.

Among them is two-time champion Pete Alonso, who looks to tie Ken Griffey Jr. with the most Home Run Derby wins in MLB history if he prevails on Monday.
