Justin Turner SLAMS Mariners, Scherzer Critiques ABS System, Sasaki Debuts

Former Mariner Justin Turner got real about Seattle’s lack of spending in a recent interview with USA Today’s Bob Nightengale.

The former All-Star said it was “just absurd” that the Mariners missed the playoffs by one game and didn’t add an impact bat.

“I told them several times this offseason that you have a unicorn of a pitching staff. This might be the best five starting pitchers in the history of the game,” Turner told USA Today.
