The World Series begins tonight!

The Yankees and Dodgers will meet for the first time in the Fall Classic since 1981, when LA won in six games. Game 1 starts at 8:08 PM EST at Dodger Stadium, with Gerrit Cole (NYY) and Jack Flaherty (LAD) taking the mound.

It’ll be the first World Series featuring two players (Ohtani, Judge) who each hit 50 or more home runs in the regular season. Both superstars will be making their World Series debuts, adding to the excitement of this iconic matchup.

The Yankees are chasing their first championship since 2009 and their 28th in franchise history, while the Dodgers are aiming for their first title since 2020 and the team’s 8th overall.
