Every team goes through bad stretches, but it’s been ROUGH in the Bronx lately.
Rafael Devers is the new David Ortiz against the Yanks. His two-homer night on Sunday helped propel the Red Sox to a series win. He’s now at 28 career homers against NYY and 16 in the Bronx. No visiting player has more since 2017.
The Yankees are 6-16 over their last 22 following the loss and have fallen three games back of the Orioles in the AL East.
Yankees are 5-15 since June 15. Every other team has at least 8 wins since that date.

The complete All-Star Game rosters were announced on Sunday night.
This year features 32 first-time selections, including Elly De La Cruz and Paul Skenes, who became the first player to be selected for an All-Star Game just a year after being picked first overall in the MLB Draft.
The Phillies are sending seven players to Texas next week. Not only is that a major league-high this year, but it’s also a club record.
