Braves Return Home Winless, John Middleton Exclusive

Are the Braves cooked already?

Atlanta returns home on Friday after a horrendous 0-7 start to the season that featured a trip to the 60-day IL for Reynaldo Lopez (right shoulder inflammation) and an 80-game suspension for Jurickson Profar for violating the league’s policy on performance-enhancing drugs.

Atlanta’s offense has largely been at fault. The team is hitting .151 (30th) with 14 runs driven in, second worst in baseball, ahead of the Colorado Rockies. The Braves hope to capture their first win of the season tonight against the Marlins.
