Jackson Holliday returned to the majors in grand fashion.
With the bases loaded in the fifth inning of Wednesday’s win, the Orioles top prospect sent a slider 439 feet to Eutaw Street for his first Big League homer.
Holliday, who turns 21 in December, became the youngest player in Orioles history to hit a grand slam.

Trade Deadline winners are typically subject to opinion, but it’s hard to overlook what the Dodgers and Cardinals accomplished.
The Cardinals acquired Erick Fedde, Tommy Pham, and Shawn Armstrong for the unexpectedly low price of Tommy Edman, Dylan Carlson, and a low-ranked prospect.
For the Dodgers, the addition of Jack Flaherty provides LA with a frontline starter in October, while Tommy Edman, Michael Kopech, Amed Rosario, and Kevin Kiermaier round out the edges of the roster.

@ajpierzynski12 blows off some steam with an EPIC rant about how the White Sox could've gotten way more for Erick Fedde.

As for the biggest loser, does it really come as a surprise that it’s the Chicago White Sox?
Not only were they unable to move Luis Robert Jr. and Garrett Crochet, but the return they got for Erick Fedde, who’s under contract through next year at just $7.5M, was considered laughable.
Oh, and they’re currently on a franchise-record 17-game losing streak following Wednesday’s loss.
