Houston Astros owner Jim Crane once declared that the contention window would never close during his tenure. However, with negotiations for Alex Bregman ongoing and the price for Kyle Tucker climbing, the Astros at least appear open to reloading.

Various reports have the Astros in talks with multiple clubs about a trade involving Tucker, who will be a free agent next winter.

Two of the teams pursuing Tucker are the Cubs and Yankees. Derek Levandowski broke down New York’s interest Wednesday night on Pinstripe Territory.
